This year me and my classmates have learning about immagration. An immagrant is somone comes from another country and  then lives in america. Usally immgrants come in on a boat.Usally those boats come in to Ellis island, N.y. So basicly on immagration day we the 4th and 5th graders have to go through what the immagrants had to go through.
